Happy New Year everyone! It’s time to catch up on some blogging, so let’s forget that it’s -25 degrees outside as I write this and go all the way back to June 1st when the thermometer was 53 degrees higher. Jillian and Mat were married that day at Sprucewood Shores Estate Winery in Southwestern Ontario. The heat and humidity eventually turned into a warm summer shower. The rain held off long enough for the ceremony to conclude, but ate up almost all of my photo time. I ended up sprinting around the grounds to make a few portraits of the new couple. When the rain finally came, I’ll admit it was a welcome refreshment. All my best wishes to this young couple – it was a pleasure to spend today remembering the warmth and joy of your late spring wedding day.
