The first wedding I photographed since relocating to Nanaimo was all the way back in Toronto. I hopped on a plane back to Ontario, snuck in some family visits and my own brother’s wedding, and spent a lovely Saturday with Ariane and Jaason on a perfect Labour Day Weekend. Their ceremony was at St. Anselm’s Parish, just a short walk from Jaason’s family home. I had been there 5 years before, for Jaason’s sister’s wedding. After the wedding and some family photos we popped over to Alexander Muir park for bridal party photos, and wound the day down with a cozy backyard reception back at home.
When your wedding is full of doctors, of course you serve Quarter-Pounders for a late-night snack.
