The “barn” used for Katelyn & Chris’s wedding this past summer was, until recently, a shed full of farm equipment. With a lot of hard work and a little power-washing, Chris and other members of their families cleaned it up, built a bar, and turned it into a beautiful wedding venue. Katelyn insists she had very little to do with the whole project and was blown away by how it all came together. Everything at this wedding felt home-made, family-centric, and comfortable. Our photo location was grandma’s farm, and the reception was at Katelyn’s family’s farm. This was the kind of wedding where it was necessary to include Katelyn’s horse in the group shots. The kind of wedding where the Ontario Provincial Police, upon passing by and noticing the wedding, pulled onto the front lawn so we could get some fun photos on the hood of the car. The kind of wedding where the entire wedding party was Katelyn, Chris, and their sisters. Everything seemed to come together perfectly, and here are some favorite photos from this perfect summer day.
