Allison and Brian were married this past winter between Christmas and New Year’s at the Inn on the Twenty in Jordan. The snow was falling heavily as I arrived for their day in Niagara wine country — fluffy, fresh, white snowflakes covering everything. A venue like this was perfect for this time of year as everything was within a few hundred meters of each other: hotel, salon, ceremony, and reception. Instead of worrying about the snowfall causing driving problems and delays during the day, it became a worry-free beautiful backdrop for the day’s events. I thought it would be a good idea to get some of my winter weddings up on the blog now that summer is right around the corner. Enjoy!
I loved the cheery yellow walls and blue wintry window light in the room where Allison was getting ready, it made for an interesting colour combination.
We popped into Cave Spring Cellars for some shots in the barrel room.
Mom and dad led the reception in a round of “skinnamarinky dinky dink”.
