Canada Day on Toronto Island: the 160 year old Royal Canadian Yacht Club; private ferries; a 1920’s theme; feathers instead of flowers; Aizick’s custom “open hand” wedding pendant instead of ring; one hundred unique feather fascinators handmade by the couple and their friends; and a genuine, joyous, and loving couple (and their awesome families) to bring it all together and make it amazing. This is the kind of wedding I’d like to do all over again, as a guest or photographer, it wouldn’t matter. I didn’t want to leave, which led to a 1:45am sprint to catch the last ferry off the island, my assistant Nicole and I both weighed down with every bit of gear I had, including three 20 pound sandbags, light stands, and all my camera and lighting gear. It was difficult cutting down the amount of photos on this blog post to a reasonable amount. This is only some of the awesome that happened that day:
