My trip to Sweden to photograph the wedding of Dennis and Rachel was one of the highlights of the year for me. The people I met, the places I saw, and the experience of the whole thing was overwhelmingly positive. I was with them there for 5 days, and I was shooting the whole time to document for them this special time and place to be, surrounded by the love of their family and friends from all over the world. This wedding was so much fun that I just can’t squeeze it all into one post, so I’ll give you half now and half next week. Today’s post will feature photos from before the wedding day: arrival to the castle, the welcome dinner, and a party so lively that it set the bar extremely high for the next day’s actual wedding celebration.
Some of you probably recognize Rachel as @yoga_girl from Instagram. She has an enormous following there where she shares her life on Aruba, her travels, and her yoga practice. I’ve contributed many photos to her Instagram account, and also to her new book, which will be available in North America in a couple months.
