How do you follow up the biggest pre-wedding party I’ve ever seen? By going even bigger on the wedding day! The morning began with a yoga class on the castle lawn, with an intensity suitable for people who had been up too late the night before. For their ceremony, Dennis and Rachel walked down a white sandy aisle overlooking lake Lejondal, and then: friends and family, great food and wine, and dancing all night. The last photo I took was just after 5am, and I heard the dance floor had to be shut down to allow them to set up for breakfast. I hope my photos captured the love and warmth and closeness of the whole day. As I look at the faces in the group photo it is a wonder to me how many of those people I now call my friends. Thank you, Rachel and Dennis, for inviting me to be a part of this and to share your day with you.
Some of you probably recognize Rachel as @yoga_girl from Instagram. She has an enormous following there where she shares her life on Aruba, her travels, and her yoga practice. I’ve contributed many photos to her Instagram account, and also to her new book, which will be available in North America in a couple months.
