Since first meeting with Anjay and Justin in early 2011 I’d spent a lot of time with them, first with a super-long engagement session and then with photography for Justin’s company, Rain Gods. So when it came time to photograph their wedding in October it felt like I was shooting for friends and that just can’t be beat. The day started at Salon Blue in Collingwood and then moved to the Cranberry Resort.
Eric Yu was my intrepid second shooter and hung out with the boys while I was with the bride getting ready. He got fantastic shots that fit perfectly with mine and I can’t wait to have him around for more weddings next year.
The only other thing that I really need to say about this wedding was that spending time with Anjay’s family both during the engagement shoot and on the wedding day was a true pleasure. They have an unbelievably deep and emotional connection that can immediately be seen and felt. Overflowing even, in a good way, like a infinity-edge pool of love. I think it really shows in the photos too. Congratulations Anjay & Justin!
