Neither Alex, Dayne or, I believe, anyone else in their family is from Quebec City, but that was their dream location and so that’s where they had their wedding. Alex is from Australia, and Dayne is from southwestern Ontario. They had visited the Fairmont Chateau Frontenac a few years ago on their travels and Alex knew that was the spot. The hotel was a fantastic place to get married. Everything you need in one place, not too big or too small, and every room, hallway, and staircase looked amazing! The reception was held in a new-ish part of the hotel called le Cellier du Château which opened up directly onto the street. This let us sneak out a few times for gorgeous night shots whenever the rain would let up. Beauty and love was everywhere this day, from the bride’s perma-smile from first thing in the morning to the groom’s speech which had even my assistant in tears. I was honored to be a part of their day, and I wish all the best to Alex and Dayne in their future world travels.
We took a quick trip down to the ceremony room to make sure everything was looking up to spec.
The candles lining the aisles were just a little too close for comfort.
I had a photobooth at the reception as well!
